Fabienne Venet R. , Is the general director of the Institute of Studies and Disclosure on Migration (INEDIM), she leads the inter-institutional processes with government actors, civil society, international organizations and foundations with the purpose of directing the work axes of the INEDIM to the various sectors competent in migration and human rights.

Fabienne is a sociologist and ethnologist, her professional experience is extensive, she founded and directed Sin Fronteras IAP from 1996 to 2008, her professional collaborations are diverse such as: in the coordination of the Program of Studies on Migrants of the Mexican Academy of Human Rights and Consultant National for the Regional Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

He is currently a member of the Guatemala-Mexico group on Migration and Development, of the Advisory Council of the Central American Institute for Social Studies and Development, a member of the Governing Council of Incide Social, AC, of ​​the Pro-DESC Advisory Board, of the Security and Democracy and the Patronato de Sin Fronteras IAP. She was also a resident fellow at ITAM’s Center for Inter-American Studies and Programs.

Thalía Vega G. , Coordinates the Institutional Development area through the management of current projects of the institute with sponsoring foundations. It also creates new opportunities to link with other intergovernmental organizations to make the institute’s work visible.

Thalía is a teacher in Public Policies for Children at the Complutense University of Madrid, her professional experience is 14 years in civil society organizations such as: executive secretary of the Committee of the Mexican section of Amnesty International and international advocacy officer at the Center of Human Rights Miguel Agustín Pro Juárez and director of institutional development for the Mexican Commission for the Defense and Promotion of Human Rights, CMDPDH.

Abbdel Camargo M. , Coordinates the Studies and Research area where the publication and academic content of INEDIM are concentrated, his work is to encourage participation with specialists, who provide contributions within the four axes of work of the institute.

Abbdel has a doctorate in Anthropology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), he is an expert in migration, ethnic studies and border studies; Abbdel has academic experience at El Colegio de la Frontera Norte and participated in research stays at the University of Santa Cruz California (UCSC) and the University of Texas at Arligton (UTA). In addition, Abbdel was a consultant specialized in migration for various public and private organizations at the national and international level.

María Canchola M. , Coordinates the Advocacy Linking area where alliances are made with government institutions in Mexico and strengthens collaboration strategies with civil society organizations in the region.

María is a teacher in International Relations from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), she has experience in planning and monitoring projects. During her previous collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross, she served as program coordinator and supervised various regional assistance projects for Central America. María also has relevant experience in immigration and advocacy due to her professional collaboration in the Jesuit Migrant Service.

Cesia Chavarría A. , Coordinates the Communication area where institutional content and the axes of work of INEDIM are carried out to publicize its positions and activities; he also manages content for the institute’s website and social networks. It promotes the institute’s activities and publications to the media and fosters inter-institutional collaborations with civil society organizations through its campaigns.

Cesia has a degree in Communication Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), her professional experience is in campaigns to promote human rights for migrants in civil society organizations such as: Stop the Detention of Migrant Children! Led by the International Collation Against Detention (IDC) and its participation in the Popular Assembly of Migrant Families (APOFAM) during the launch of the Migrant Action campaign.

Ana Paola García D. , Coordinates the Administration and Finance area of ​​INEDIM, she contributes to strengthen the economic sustainability of the organization and supports the management of projects in execution.

Ana Paola has a master’s degree in Public Policy from the Autonomous Metropolitan University and a public accountant from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), her professional experience focuses on the administration of projects sponsored by the IDB-MIF in civil society organizations such as: CSO Strengthening Program in the Social Development Foundation, VAMOS and in the administration direction of the Model Mentoring Program to Develop Young Entrepreneurs, among others.
