Mexican Commission for Aid to Refugees
COMAR is an inter-ministerial body created (1980) by a Presidential Agreement, made up of the Ministries of the Interior, Foreign Relations, and Labor and Social Welfare. It has the power to study the needs of foreign refugees in the National Territory; Approve projects to help refugees in the country; Seek permanent solutions to refugee problems.
