National Institute of Women
Institution of the Federal Government in charge of directing the national policy to achieve equal opportunities between women and men, through the institutionalization and mainstreaming of the gender perspective in the actions of the Mexican State. First of the fundamental rights in the Federal Constitution.
Its objective is to promote and foster the conditions that give rise to non-discrimination, equal opportunities and treatment between the genders, the exercise of all the rights of women and their equitable participation in the political, cultural, economic and social life of the country.
